Frigiliana

Frigiliana lies nestled in the mountains 6km north of Nerja. It is locally referred to as the ‘Three Cultures’, because it is said that it is the last place after the fall of the Moorish Empire in 1592 where the Jews, Moors, and Christians continued living in harmony. This feeling of community is still felt today with its narrow cobbled streets, charm and stunning views.

Frigiliana offers a wide array of restaurants for every palate, beautifully maintained landscaping, and a balance of tranquillity and vibrancy that is spectacular. It has consistently been voted as one of the best White Villages in Spain, and credit to the Town Hall who also provide events spanning the entire year culminating in the ‘Tres Culturas’ which falls on the last weekend in August.
