Whether you require a doctor for illness, have suffered an accident or need continuous treatment and consultation, the hospitals on the Costa del Sol are exceptional, both state and privately owned. Well-trained medical staff have access to state-of-the-art equipment and are pleasant, helpful and professional.<\/p>\r\n \r\nSuch is the quality of care, Spain is becoming a destination for health and dental tourism, with prices in private clinics very competitive compared with Northern Europe. It is one of the largest hospitals on the Costa del Sol. A good percentage of its patients are non-Spanish speaking so it has a number of voluntary interpreters, making it one of the best public health service choices for expats on the Costa del Sol. The main building is located on Avenida Carlos Haya. This is also a teaching hospital, so the standards of diagnosis and treatment are generally thought to be among the best in Spain. There may be a few English speaking doctors but it is not something that can be guaranteed. \nHet ziekenhuis Costa del Sol ligt in Los Monteros, vlakbij de belangrijkste kustweg A7 ten oosten van het stadscentrum van Marbella. Het is \u00e9\u00e9n van de grootste ziekenhuizen aan de Costa del Sol. Een goed percentage van zijn pati\u00ebnten zijn niet-Spaanse sprekenden, dus het heeft een aantal vrijwillige tolken, waardoor het \u00e9\u00e9n van de beste keuzes voor gezondheidszorg is voor expats op de Costa del Sol. Het heeft ook meerdere engelssprekende artsen.

\nEen ander ziekenhuis in de gezondheidszorg is de Carlos Haya, dat drie gebouwen in het centrum van Malaga heeft. Het hoofdgebouw ligt op Avenida Carlos Haya. Dit is ook een onderwijsziekenhuis, dus de normen van diagnose en behandeling worden over het algemeen beschouwd als \u00e9\u00e9n van de beste in Spanje. \nHelicopteros Sanitarios is een prive-nooddienst die 24 uur per dag voor een jaarlijkse vergoeding tot uw dienst komt. Hun service dekking strekt zich van Torremolinos naar Alcaidesa. Hun website is ook in het Engels. Onlangs hebben ze hun nadruk van noodbehandeling veranderd naar een ‘huisarts service’, met een gekwalificeerde arts die elke oproep bijwoont.
